I love the vibrant pattern of the orange color, but the bedspread reeks of petroleum, which did not come out with washing. I guess it is from the dye and may not be the same with other colorr. The instructions say to wash gently and not soak it, so I'm not sure what else to do. I may be able to use it as a porch sofa cover where the smell will dissipate; certainly not on a bed.
