I bought these to fill in gaps in some outdoor willow trellises where the original ivy had blown off after several years.These were inexpensive, with the leaves a nice dark green color and larger than ones on a similar garland that I bought a year or so ago.However, they did have a very unpleasant smell right out of the package. I thought it might have been the shrink-packaging and put them in the garage. I haven't checked yet but I will still use them as they will be fine for my purpose. But I certainly would not use them indoors or in some of the suggested uses (wedding arches, etc.).I have read review of others who made the same point about the smell-so it wasn't just this package.Again, good buy and fine if needed in some inconspicuous outdoor location.Update re: odor:After a few days in the garage, the smell seems to have dissipated. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
